These 5 weight 9 foot Fly Rods are one of the best all around fly rods you can get. They aren't too stiff that you lose all sensitivity and they aren't too light so you cant land the occasional big fish. They are perfect for medium sized rivers and lakes with medium sized 2-6lb (10"-18" fish) and the occasionally larger trout, bass, panfish, etc. They are very versatile and can be used on an array of fishing techniques and locations. If you are looking for a good "general" rod this is a great choice.
