Lifetime Warranty

All rods other than custom One Off Rods 

Here at Outlaw Rod Co. we know accidents happen because they've happened to us.  Every new outlaw rod is covered by our lifetime, original owner warranty.  This warranty covers any defects in material or craftsmanship and is limited to the original purchaser of the rod.

Outlaw Rod Co. reserves the right to repair or replace any outlaw product covered by this warranty and the right to replace any discontinued models with comparable models if necessary.  Colors and parts may vary between original and replacement parts.

This warranty does not cover theft, fire, missing rod sections, intentional breakage, modifications, or customization. 

For any rod that has defects in material or workmanship there will be no charge to replace the rod, for any damages other than defects in material or craftsmanship, there will be a $59 warranty fee.

Custom One Off Rod Warranty

At Outlaw Rod Co., every custom one-off rod is handcrafted with premium materials, precision assembly, and attention to detail. We stand behind the quality of our work and are proud to offer a 1-Year Limited Warranty on all custom-built rods.

This warranty covers defects in materials and craftsmanship under normal fishing use for a period of one year from the original purchase date. If your rod is found to have a manufacturing defect during the warranty period, we will repair or replace the rod or defective section at our discretion.

Because each custom rod is individually built to your selected specifications, this warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, neglect, normal wear and tear, impact damage, improper storage, modifications, or breakage caused by high sticking, vehicle doors, stepping on the rod, or other user-related damage.

Due to the custom nature of these builds and the limited availability of certain materials, components, blanks, thread colors, reel seat inserts, cork styles, and hardware may become discontinued or unavailable over time. For this reason, we do not offer a lifetime warranty on custom one-off rods. If a warranty replacement or repair requires discontinued materials, Outlaw Rod Co. reserves the right to substitute components with the closest available match in style, color, or performance. Replacement parts may not be identical to the original build.

To start a warranty claim, customers must provide proof of purchase along with photos and a description of the issue. In some cases, the rod or damaged section may need to be returned for inspection. Customers are responsible for shipping costs associated with warranty claims unless otherwise approved.

Our goal is simple — to build custom rods that perform flawlessly and last for years on the water. If there’s ever an issue with your build, we’ll do our best to make it right.
