The Rod
The 3wt 7’6” Rogue Edition Fly Rod is a high-performance fiberglass rod with a smooth slow-to-medium action, designed to outperform the competition—without the premium price tag. Most importantly, the rod blank itself is built from our proprietary fiberglass blend, engineered to deliver exceptional casting accuracy and smooth, controlled performance.
This custom fiberglass construction provides a full-flex profile that excels in dry fly presentations and situations where delicacy and precision matter most. Compared to carbon fiber or graphite, fiberglass offers a smoother, more forgiving feel with a deeper flex—making it both tough and incredibly enjoyable to cast.

The Reel
The Maverick doesn't fit the mold when is comes to standard fly reel design. It utilizes a semi-frame design to reduce weight and give full exposure to both front and back spool rims. The drag adjustment knob is located inside the frame and can be easily adjusted from the back. This placement of the drag knob shifts the center of gravity to the center of the reel making it perfectly balanced. The reel is fully machined from high quality bar stock (not a brittle casting) and assembled with sealed bearings for the smoothest operation. This frame doesn’t just look good. The contoured back surfaces and the X design combine to make Maverick’s frame very rigid. The spool rims have been designed with a larger cross section to increase strength and make it easier to palm and apply additional drag when needed. The double carbon disc sealed drag requires virtually no start-up inertia. Sealed and saltwater friendly. Can be converted to right or left hand retrieve.
