This 4wt 7'6" Rogue edition Fly Rod is a high performance slow to medium action fly rod that will out perform any of the competition at a fraction of the price. We believe that a good fly rod shouldn't break the bank and we've spent years perfecting the look, feel, and performance of this rod for that reason! This fly rod looks good, feels good, and out performs any of the $800 and over fly rods you see at your local fly shop. From our hand turned real burlwood reel seat inserts to our custom designed cork grip with custom inserts this rod is top of the line, we create everything on our rods for a reason. We didn't forget the most important part either, the blank! We have pulled out all the stops on this rod and gave it our all with better weight, better sensitivity, and a better action on the rod so you can get pin point accuracy. Everything that we do at Outlaw is centered around achieving more with our equipment.
These slow to medium action fly rods are great for dry flies and situations where delicacy and accuracy are required. You will love the feel of the fiberglass fly rods, they are tough smooth and have a fuller flex than graphite.
This 4 weight 7 foot 6 inch Fly Rod is perfect for smaller fish like small trout and panfish. This rod is also perfect for fishing smaller creeks as it's not as long as your typical 9 foot fly rod and wont get caught up in the typical foliage growing along creeks and smaller rivers. It can also be good for backpacking as it is lighter and shorter in length than other fly rods. This fly rod can be good for nymphing, bow and arrow casts, dapping, high sticking, and many other fly fishing techniques.
This rod pairs well with our Outlaw 3wt floating fly line and Qualifly Maverick Fly Reel.
